Price Comparison Widget

Have you ever wanted to complement your existing or new content to allow visitors to compare product prices, then have a list of instantly available options of where they can buy the item? Well, that's just what we've created with our Price Comparison WidgetYou can now build your own price comparison widget for your website, choosing from more than 500 million products from more than 5,000 advertisers. That means more ways for your site visitors to buy what they want, right from your website.

Our Product Comparison Widget will allow you to search matching products by matching the UPC (Universal Product Number) across all approved advertisers on your account. All of our Data Feeds are updated daily, which means that we will always have up to date pricing and availability for each product per advertiser.

Picture these problems...

You have an article recommending the iRobot Braava Jet 240 Robo Mop on your website. The article was originally written with the only option for the reader to go shop at Macys.com.

  • PROBLEM: You have to take the time to build deep links to the specific product page.
  • PROBLEM: If you post the price you saw that day, it won't stay up to date!
  • PROBLEM: You can only link to that one store.
  • PROBLEM: What happens if the item is sold out at the store you linked? Nothing, because they can't buy it now.

But with our Price Comparison Widget, the reader will have the option to choose where to buy the product from up to 12 different stores -- all of which will credit you with the sale!

The Solution?

  • REAL-TIME OPTIONS! Give readers the option to compare prices in real-time & availability across multiple stores.
  • AUTOMATIC UPDATES! Create the widget once and let our technology update the pricing.
  • LOOKS GOOD EVERYWHERE! Responsive Widget layout adjust to your site template and looks good on Desktop and Mobile browsers.

Complementing your product review posts or any mentions of a specific product with a Price Comparison Widgets will boost your overall reader engagement and ultimately the conversion rate to a sale. This will save readers time from doing price comparison research on their own, also it will reduce the possibility of the reader leaving your site to use a search engine to find the lowest price out there and end up clicking through via another channel or possibly another publisher’s link which will cause you to lose the sale.

So, let's create a widget!

  • Look for the store that carries the product: (Example: Macys.com)
    • Filter the “Advertiser Name” – Macys.com
    • Filter the “Catalog Name”  Macys.com Catalog
    • Add a product Keyword: “iRobot Braava

  • Once you search and the search loads, find the product for which you want to compare prices.

  • Click on the “Compare Prices” button

  • Then you will be taken to our Comparison Widget page where it will show all of the matching records that have the same UPC (Universal Product Number) from stores you are approved for.

  • Select the products from the stores you want to add to your Comparison Widget by clicking on “Add To Widget

  • Once you have added the products you want to the widget click on the “Widget Basket” either on the top left-hand side or on the top right side of the page result.

  • After clicking on the “Widget Basket” the slider will open up and you need to click on “Create Compare Widget” in order to retrieve the code.

  • Copy the HTML code on the “Your Code” box
